This month represents 6 months of marriage to my beautiful Wife, Holly Marie Cartee.

I never thought that I would ever be this lucky in my entire life. I never thought that I would meet that “Perfect Girl” who would be there for me through everything, through both the hard times and the great times… All I can say is I was wrong.

When we first started “Officially” dating in February of 2010 my life took a turn for the best. I first met Holly through her brother Spencer, at the time him & I were playing in a band together called “Reach For The Sky”. Its somewhat of a funny store how I came to meet the woman of my dreams. Spencer & I used to go on double dates during the weekends and nothing ever really… clicked… One weekend several weeks later Spencer came to me and asked what I thought about doing a double date with him and his Sister. At first I was very hesitant to do this because I never really liked when any of my friends told me they liked MY sister so I imagined it would have been a similar thing for him, however we still ended up going on a double date. Our date was very basic and simple yet seemed to be so perfect and special. All we did that night was cook brownies and watch a movie, but those few hours I got to spend with Holly I would always remember.

A few nights after our first date I decided that I really wanted to see her again & be able to go on another date, however I was unsure of how to approach her, I had never been good with girls or initiating conversations in general. I ended up doing the silliest thing possible, I simply sent her a text message asking if she would like to go on another date sometime.. she said yes. When I received a message back from Holly a few hours ago saying that she would love to, my heart rose to my throat. I had never felt that kind of emotion before. I was very excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time. As cheesy as it may sound, it was like everything was happening as it was meant to be…..
